This Manaslu circuit gives the trekkers one of the most awesome journeys in the western Himalayas. From the alpine forests to the scenic beauty of Mt. Manaslu (8,163), to the pristine BudhiGandaki and MarshyangdiRiver, to the rhododendron forest, this trek has it all.

Our representative will pick you up at your hotel. After breakfast, we will head to Aarughat in a private vehicle. We pass Dhanding Bazar on the way. The road up to DhadingBesi is very comfortable, however, from there on the path is bumpy with many rock roads. We stay a night at the lodge. Approximately 8 hours of drive. BLD included.
Along the BudhiGandaki River we pass beautiful villages and get a glimpse of the beautiful Ganesh Himal and Mt. Manaslu (8,163m). We descend down to SotiKhola which is famous for its swimming holes. Get a good fresh bath and rest for the night. Approximately 5 hours of walk. BLD included
After breakfast, we trek along the bank of BudhiGandakiRiver. Through various maize and millet field we, reach Khursani Bari (890m). We move up the rock trail and reach a Gurung Village called Lapubeshi. We drop to the river bed and again climb over a side ridge. Cross another river and we reach MachhaKhola Village where we stay for the night. Approximately 5-6 hours of walk. BLD included
Passing the Maccha River, we reach Tatopani which translates to "hot water" and is famous for its hot water sprouts. Crossing the BudhiGandaki, we ascend to Doban (1,000m) through a well-crafted staircase. Moving up the steep valley sides, we cross a suspension bridge and reach the village of Jagat. We spend our night at a lodge. Approximately 6 hours of walk. BLD included
We ascend to the hill of Saguleri from where we can view the beautiful SringiHimal (7,177m). Proceeding to the path of SirishGaon and through the Gandaki Valley, we reach EkkliBhatti. We stay the night here. Approximately 5 hours of walk. BLD included
Continuing our trek we move upstream of Deng River. Passing through the rock tunnel we come to a narrow path. Observing the traditional Mani stones and chortens, we reach to Bihi. Rock tunnels help us avoid the traditional descend down to Ghap. Approximately 6 hours of walk. BLD included
Leaving Bihi we have to pass a wooden bridge. After that, we follow the path with the view of SIring and Ganesh Himal and even Mt. Himalchuli to the south. We reach Lihi with chortens and barley terraces which show for one of the most visually stunning traditions in the western region of Nepal. Approximately 6 hours of walk. BLD included
We descend down and cross the valley of SimnangHimal. On the way, we get to the see the gorgeous view of Majestic Ganesh Himal. On the way, we pass through three villages- Sho, Lho and Shyala each blessed with a unique view of mountains and cultural beauty. Finally, after proceeding further we reach SamaGaon following the moraine foPungen Glacier. After few minutes' walk, we reach SamaGompa where we stay for the night. Approximately 6 hours of walk. We take a day rest in SamaGaun and visit the nearby glacier lake- Birendra Tal. We can also visit the old monasteries. If you are in top shape you can take an extended trek to Manaslu Base camp and return, however, this trip will take 8 hours. BLD included
Climbing on the terraced hill we follow the bank of BudhiGandakiRiver. The juniper and birch forests help us to relax with its natural exquisiteness. Ascending through the narrow path we reach Samdo where you might get to witness the beautiful snow. Approximately 4 hours of walk. BLD included
Since we are well above 4,000m, we use this day to acclimatize. We can use this day to walk to Tibet border or hike up to the valley if we want. This gives for one of the best views of Mt. Manaslu along with other Himalaya ranges. Along the way, we can see the beautiful Lophohorous, Lammergeyer and even Himalayan Griffin high above us. BLD included
We descent down and cross a wooden bridge over the BudhiGandaki river and begin to ascend thereafter. We cross the Larkya Glacier and pass the SalkaKhola. Few more stretch and we reach Dharamshala (LarkePhedi). Since this day's trek was short, we have plenty of time to acclimatize and relax. Approximately 4 hours of walk. BLD included
Walking up further after breakfast, we reach the valley on the northern side of Larkya Glacier. From here, we can enjoy the view of CheoHimal (6,820m), Annapurna II (7,937m), HimlungHimal (7,126m) and many other magnificent mountains. After a steep descent through moraines we reach Bhimphedi where we stop for the night. Approximately 8 hours of walk. BLD included
A short climb and we reach the paddy fields and we move along the fields. Crossing the Karch La pass we descend through the beautiful and verdant rhododendron forest and reach Tilje. Approximately 5 hours of walk. BLD included
We continue right after breakfast. We climb a small ridge and pass through the villages. Crossing the bridge over DudhKhola and we reach Thonje village. There's a police checkpoint here. We also pass Karte village and finally get to Marshyandi River Bridge. Cross it and we reach Tal Village. Approximately 5 hours of walk. BLD included
Follow the trail gently downstream and we reach the village of Chamje. We come downhill even further and reach the village of Jagat. Approximately 5-6 hours of walk. BLD included
We descend down to SanjeeGaon and after trekking for a while we reach GharmuuPhant. Ascend some more and we reach Baundanda. Approximately 5 hours of walk. BLD included
This is the last stretch of our journey home. Moving alongside the river, we reach Naadi village. Following the riverbank of Marshyangdiriver and through the town Bhulbhule and Khudi we finally reach Beshisahar which marks the end of our trek. Here, we take a well-deserved rest. Early morning, after breakfast, we use a public bus or Private Car and get back to Kathmandu where our journey began or you can go to Pokhara for your Extra days. Approximately 7-8 hours of drive. No meals included.
