Pikey Peak Trek, alternatively known as the lower Everest trek is one of the recently opened treks in the Khumbu region. Named after the Pikey hill (4,065m) - the tallest hill in the Solukhumbu region, the view from top provides with one of the best of the eastern Himalayas.

As we take on this journey to the Khumbu region we will get to witness the view of the mystic peaks including the Mt. Everest (8,848m), Mt. Kanchenjunga(8,586m), Mt. Manaslu (8,163m), Mt. Dhaulagiri I (8.167m) and many others. The trails take us through the dusty and off beaten road as well as through the thick fir and Rhododendron forests. As we walk alongside the tranquil rivers, the trek becomes more and more exciting and a naturally blessed one. The diverse geographic location and landscape are one of the major highlights of this trek.

Throughout this trek, we will stop at various local villages and enjoy their unique culture. Since Buddhist culture is pretty prevalent in the region you can expect a lot of mani walls, chortens, monasteries and prayer flags which adds to the beauty of this trek.
