Manaslu Circuit with Tsum Valley Trek is one of the long treks in the western Nepal that has been blessed with the view of the mystic peaks, the grandeur green landscape and the rich Buddhist religion and the unique cultures.

In this trek, we can enjoy the awesomeness of some of the most popular peaks including Mt. Manaslu (8,163m), the eighth highest peak in the world along with the Annapurna ranges, Ganesh Himal (7,422m) as well as several others.

As this trek goes close to the Tibetan border, we can witness the mix of both Nepalese and as well the Tibetan culture. Explore the beauty of the vast Manaslu Massif as the trekkers enjoy the diverse landscape that the land has to offer.

The lavish Rhododendron and juniper forest show us the tranquility of nature. We move inside and outside the BudhiGandaki and Marsyandi valley with the view of the eloquent villages and the harsh rivers flowing underneath. On the cultural side, The Manaslu Circuit with Tsum valley trek is dominated by the Buddhist culture.

Along the way, trekkers can witness the cultural Buddhist chortens and well as the prayer flags which embodies the sanctity of the religion. There are many monasteries that we can visit on this trek. As Tsum region was restricted till 2008, this uncharted land has more or less retained much of its culture making it one of the cultural gem of Nepal.

Manaslu Circuit with Tsum Valley Trek is a 27 days’ trek that takes the trekkers as high as 5,106m in Larkya La so the difficulty is nothing to smirk at. We recommend a good physical condition and high stamina along with a good health.

Considering this, the optimum time to take on this epic journey to the Manaslu region would be either Spring (March-May) or the Autumn (November – December).

Trip Highlights

  • Explore the exquisite beauty of the Manaslu circuit
  • Cross the Larkya Pass (5,106m)- the highest point of the trek
  • Visit the uncharted Tsum Valley and experience the culture and natural beauty of the region
  • Enjoy the scenic route through the verdant forests with the view of the mystic mountains
  • Relish the natural scenery of the mountains, hills, and rivers while experiencing the local culture and lifestyle
