The Everest Base Camp Helicopter tour is an Unforgettable Experience.

The Everest base camp helicopter tour is cultural immersion, luxury, and a thrilling journey that will leave a lasting impression on all who embark on it. The Mount Everest base camp helicopter tour will provide you with a close encounter with the series of dramatic Himalayan mountain regions.

The flight takes off from Kathmandu and starts by soaring in the high clouds over the lush hills and alpine forest of pine, fir, and rhododendron with an eye-catching view of the chains of the mountains in the Himalayas.

Jugal Himal, Langtang range, Gaurishankar, and other peaks are visible when the flight starts to soar through the clouds. After flying for an hour, the first destination is Lukla, where we take a break of 15 minutes to enjoy the cold breeze of mountain air and scenery.

Tenzing Hillary Airport of Lukla is named after famous mountaineers Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa. The small airstrips in the area offer an exciting landing experience for the mountaineering flight.

After a while, we will enter the territory of Sagarmtha National Park, home to the endangered fauna and exotic flora, which are the secret of the mesmerizing Himalayan beauty.

Besides, The panoramic scenery will improve once you reach the Namche Bazar. The sherpa hub of Everest, Namche Bazar, is a small market town known as Gateway to Everest.

Ama Dablam, Kusum Kanguru, Thamserku, and Kwangde peaks are noticeable after a specific elevation. As we fly further, we will encounter famous Sherpa villages like Syangboche(fantastic view of the Everest range), Tengboche(home to Tengboche monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region), and Gorak Shep(the final settlement of the people as we advance in the area).

This settlement area will provide you with a fascinating glimpse of culture, tradition, and way of their life. Moreover, we will land at our final destination at Kalapthar via Khumbu and Everest base camp.

We will have around 10-15 minutes to spend at the foothills of the highest peak in the world and relish the glory and magnificence of the surrounding us. Towering peaks encompass the Everest base camp, which provides impressive views of mountains and glaciers like Lhotse, Nuptse, and Pumori.

Taking off from the Kalapthar, our next Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour stop is at Everest View Hotel(40000m) near Syanboche. It offers a marvelous experience of having a delicious breakfast while gazing upon the world; highest peak Everest.

After a pleasant an-hour stop, we bid farewell to the Everest region as we take off to the Lukla while enjoying the panoramic scene over the Himalayas. We will return to Kathmandu within an hour, and our Everest base camp helicopter tour is over.

Besides, the Helicopter helps transport supplies for expeditions, rescue missions, and passengers in the region. So, getting a base camp helicopter tour in the season is an easy and fantastic opportunity to experience the region's beauty.

The major attraction of the season is the aerial view of the Everest base camp, where you will see climbers and trekkers residing in tents in the base camp, which can be a bit amazing.

The glimpse of the breathtaking mountain peaks Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, and the vast expanse of the Khumbu Glacier can be taken easier by helicopter tour.

The weather at the high altitude can change regularly, but in the morning, we can get pleasant weather. In the Everest base camp, springs are milder, with temperatures ranging from 0 to -10 degree Celsius. However, the weather can be unpredictable due to strong winds and snowfall in the Everest region.

In Nepal, you will experience rain in the lower region with lush greenery from June to August. The flights can be canceled due to extreme weather conditions, but you can get the weather permits.

The rainy season is in lower altitudes, but it snows above the Namche Bazar while the weather conditions can still challenging. If there are good weather windows, there is an opportunity to experience the breathtaking aerial views of the Himalayas.

We offer a flexible and prepared itinerary during the rainy season due to extreme weather conditions or cancelations. If you are interested in a helicopter tour in the upcoming rainy season, please ask us about the possible flights beforehand.

However, group tours are available, which will be cheaper as you have a shared cost basis. The opportunity to witness the Everest region's greenery during the monsoon season is a fantastic experience that should not be missed.

The monsoon season may not be an ideal time to reach the Everest base camp by helicopter ride due to the potential for weather disruption. But it is the best time to take the fresh smell of nature after the rain and witness the beauty of natural wonder.

Our Everest base camp helicopter tour comes with proper preparation and flexibility offering visitors a majestic experience in the Himalayas.

Autumn is one of the best seasons while taking part in an Everest base camp helicopter tour. The most popular and busiest time is the clear, sunny blue skies, with the ideal conditions for scenic flights soaring the Himalayas.

We offer a fixed departure for our helicopter tours daily, so you will have a greater chance of securing a spot on time without any cancelations. The clear weather conditions will also reduce the risk of flight cancelations compared to other seasons.

While exploring the Everest region, we will also arrange a private charter flight providing a chance to take alternative routes on a helicopter not accessible by regular trekking routes. You can break your time between a helicopter tour and trekking, getting the best experience.

The colorful foliage of the flora, with a beautiful contrast to the alluring snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas range, make the experience even more captivating.

Everest Base Camp helicopter tour in Winter

The winter season provides a different experience in the Mount Everest base camp helicopter tour. It is a bit different, as you can play with the white snow and have a different view of the majestic Himalayan range.

In the winter season, we will have cases of cancelations; we offer a full refund and reschedule the Everest base camp helicopter tour for you. If the weather conditions are extreme, we will also refund you.

A magical experience offers the opportunity to encounter the mountains draped ins now and a more serene and peaceful atmosphere in the region.

Alternative Helicopter Tour of Everest Base Camp

A fantastic morning trip to Mount Everest can be an exclusive experience. But what if you want to stay on Everest or even continue on foot on the Everest Base Camp trek or any other trek of the area?

Himalayan partner offers two alternatives for those who want to trek but are not excited about spending the time to drive to the airport. Another is for people who wish to explore the Namche Bazar or enjoy the heart of the Himalayas without strolling in the sweat.

Kathmandu to Lukla Helicopter Flight

A flight from Ramcehap to Lukla, including a bus trip to Ramechap, is $600, which may sound better.

The airport set aside by the government of Nepal for flying people of the Everest region is several hours' drive from Kathmandu, and passing by Helicopter from Kathmandu to Lukla can be the best alternative. 45-60 minutes flight will take you to Lukla, where you can start your trek usually.

People want to trek around the Everest region, and we will offer you a perfect trip for them. We fly directly from Kathmandu to Lukla, which will enhance our experience.

In the domestic airport, the helipad is negligible due to Kathmandu Valley's mountain increasing the demand for land and air space.

The government of Nepal has planned to reduce air traffic by moving flights into the Everest region to the eastern part of Nepal, Ramechhap. This airport is several hour drives from Kathmandu, so the trekked must leave Kathmandu by bus in the afternoon to catch the early morning flights to Lukla.

But can you get a better night's sleep before starting the trek? You may want to stay a day to explore the local area, but at present, there is little to less accommodation which fills up quickly. Also, you can encounter bad weather delaying the flight. In such cases, you can utilize the tent and wait.

Namche Bazar to Everest Base Camp Helicopter Tour

If you are looking to soar the clouds and stroll the rugged terrain of the Himalayas to reach the Everest abse camp, Namche Bazar to Kathmandu by Helicopter is a perfect idea.

Forty-five minutes flight will take you around the majestic area of Namche, especially for those looking to customize their trek from Namche and stroll the mountainous region.

This aerial flight will offer a relaxed time with a comfortable stay in Namche, pleasantly taking the sights and sounds of the Himalayan mountain, including flying over Everest Base Camp and landing at Kala Pathar.

After driving to the domestic terminal, you will board your respective helicopter flight. You will stop at Lukla to refuel and take a 15-minute short break.

6:30 am: You are flying along the east with the Himalayas mountain range to the Hillary Tenzing airport at Lukla. You will pass through snow-capped mountains from the Langtang Range near Kathmandu to the Khumbu region during the flight.
